VidMate is Android-only. Any website offering a “VidMate IPA”, asking you to install a profile, or asking you to complete “human verification” before downloading is not genuine.
Why there is no VidMate for iPhone
Apple only allows apps from the App Store, and the App Store doesn’t accept apps that download videos from YouTube and similar sites. VidMate is distributed as an Android APK, which iPhones can’t install.
Ways to save videos on iPhone
1. File manager apps with a built-in browser
Apps such as Documents by Readdle include a web browser and a download manager. You can open an online downloader site inside them and save the file to the app, then move it to Photos.
2. Official offline features
YouTube Premium, Netflix, Spotify and many other services let you download content for offline viewing inside their own apps.
3. Screen recording
iOS has a built-in screen recorder in Control Center — useful for short clips you are allowed to keep.
